I stream Fifa 17 (only) from my xbox console to Twitch via elgato game capture and OBS. I don't play any PC games at all. I am getting by on this average to nasty build listed below but are running out of patience with dropping frames in the stream. My OBS settings are already kind to the CPU and I'd like to beef it up so I won't have to worry anymore. I run the game at 1080p (from the capture card) downscaling to 720p at 30fps with a webcam at a measly 480p. This works ok, but as soon as you add music, or open your browser I drop frames rapidly. My internet is great with a massive upload and I could get away with 3400 encoding if I really wanted to (with the right build that is). I currently encode at 2200 for safety.

My questions to you are 1) : Do I upgrade the AMD to FX-8350 and call it a day? I've been told I don't need to upgrade my shitty GPU Nvidia GeForce 610 as I don't PC game at all?

2) - I am unaware of the cooler/fan in my build but imagine it's similar to the "auto" one I listed here. would I need to get busy on cooling with the new CPU?

3) I would like to render video for youtube tutorials and run the Adobe suite as well. Should I carry on with AMD, or switch to Intel for a complete overhaul at an extra $900?
