You and I have been through this before /r/gamingcirclejerk, so I'll dispense with the long winded explanation and go with the Cliff's notes.

Your editors and writers constantly take shots at PC, and they do it by making misstatements or misrepresentations about PC.

You had a young female editor on a Bloodborne video say she preferred 30fps because its more cinematic. Tell me that isn't a buzzword straight from Xbox's marketing department. You and I know 60fps is objectively better, and no one prefers 30fps. Justifying bare minimum framerates on consoles doesn't help anyone, and conveys that 60+ fps on PC games is pointless.

Mitch Dyer stated you can't tell the difference between 720p and 1080p unless you are looking at a screen 50 inches or bigger.

Another guy said you can't record gameplay on PC but you can on Xbox One.

Now, an editor is saying Quantum Break is going look pretty much the same on PC as it does on Xbox One and that you have to invest much more in PC than in Xbox. Both of these statements are untrue. We are going to be playing at 1080p, 1440p, 4k at 60fps. The framerate and resolution difference alone is a huge advantage.

XCOM 2 just got a 9.3/10 even though it has glaring performance issues. Street Fighter just got a 8/10 despite its online component being entirely, entirely, non-functional on PC on launch. Arkham Knight has a 9.2/10 even though the publisher had to pull it from steam because of technical issues, which were never fixed on re-launch.

In short, GCJ fudges graphics comparisons, makes misstatements taking shots at PC, and gives PC games with obvious performance issues scores that are not warranted.

Further, your editors do this for a living. They know the technical capabilities and costs associated with console vs PC. They know how to make an objective comparison video. They know you can see the difference between 1080p and 720p on a screen smaller than 50 inches, they know 30fps isn't "cinematic", they know you can record gameplay on PC.

So "whoops" isn't believable. It doesn't seem like it would be so difficult to stop this kind of foolishness and start garnering some good will from PC players. So, what's holding GCJ back?
