Build Help/Ready:
Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)
Yes.
What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.
Mostly gaming, i have a macbook for all other tasks.
If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, FPS, game settings)
At least medium-preset settings for most current AAA games. 720p@60 is okay, but if 1080p@30-60 is possible that would be awesome.
What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?
$400 USD
In what country are you purchasing your parts?
USA.
Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).

I’d like to have a i5-6500 because i know its a good CPU but i don’t think i can fit into the budget. I do plan on upgrading components later down the road when the extra cash is available. So my focus is just building a good platform to work on that can be improved and expanded later on. As long as i can play most games on atlas medium settings with good FPS i’ll be happy until i have the extra cash to upgrade. I also have two external 1TB HDD that i can use for extra storage. if it would be better to put in a SSD now instead of an internal HDD.
Thank you for your help, i miss gaming on a pc and I’m over paying for xbox live.
