Let's just get straight to the details...
Don't have any of the new systems
Love Madden (gets more hours than any other game most years)
Love NBA 2k
Love Halo
Love Metal Gear
Currently Own a 360 and looking to get a new console soon
70% of my friends own Xbox One
I hear PS4 is the better system
Own a 50' 720p TV
Love multiplayer gaming
Normally don't play exclusives (except Halo but I can live without it)
Own a Wii U with it's bigger games
I'm getting to that stage in life where I'm married, have a career, probably have kids within the next year or so I'm not able to play games quite as often as I would like. I do want a new system though to be able to play the new Madden and 2K games. We watch a lot of Netflix so this will probably be used for that as well. I'd really rather keep my purchase as cheap as possible, but I don't want to be cheap just to be cheap. So my question is this, should I get one of the current Xbox bundles or wait for the Xbox One S? The bundles are pretty amazing right now. The Spring Bundle was pretty amazing (1TB xbox, extra controller, Halo, Gears of War, Rare Replay and that Ori game for $299). That's really tempting, but should I wait for the new xbox in august? Just for the 500GB system, it'll be $299 with no games or extra controllers. I absolutely plan on buying Madden in August when it comes out and I'm sure there will be bundles with it. Should I wait for that? Any suggestions?
