How? (Serious question)

How can I be good (to my standard) right when I get on in the morning, and then take a break and be completely trash when I get back on?

Seriously, I get on, load up rocket league trainer and can hit a good percent of the shots. Play some games and keep up the consistency, then get off for an hour or so to eat. When I get back on, I can't hit anything in game, or in practice on the trainer. This happens every day. I'm also decent late at night.

I recently started playing on Pc, coming from Xbox, also transitioning from my 720p 32" tv to my 1080p 24" monitor, maybe that has something to do with it? Though I feel that I'm a much better player overall after the change, just much more inconsistent.

I'm about a challenger 2-3 player, but play like a prospect 1 at times, and a star at others. I'm really tired of the inconsistencies in my play.

Does anyone else experience this? Is there a reason to why this happens, and is there a solution?
