I've got a weird bug with using Game Capture HD where the PS3 displays on the TV correctly at 1020p resolution, and I'm recording at 720p on the software. When I record the video however, there's a huge amount of frame dropping that occurs, no matter what game is being played. I'm just using Elgato's supplied PS3 input chord, no HDMI splitters or anything.
Frame dropping is a pretty common issue new elgato users have, what makes this one weird is that I don't have this issue at all recording an Xbox 360. This is only happening on the PS3, and nothing else.
I even tried reducing the display settings to 720p to match the recording output but nothing's improved.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
