Why can't I decide what quality to watch videos in on the YouTube app on Xbox 360?

All I get is that it goes by my internet speed. I don't care about waiting a few extra minutes to load, I just want my 1440 (or at least 1080). It keeps dragging my videos into 480 or 720 and I can see all the little squares and I hate it. Anything I can do about this?
