Question for Pro Console FPS Players

Hello,

I'm wondering what the best gaming monitor currently available for competitive level FPS gaming is?

Does it make a difference if I have PS4/Xbox? I play both, primarily X1.

Does screen size make a huge difference?

Is BenQ really the industry standard in gaming monitors?

Would non-FPS games not play as well on these types of monitors?

Bottom line: What gaming monitor should I buy for competitive Halo and Call of Duty play on X1?

I currently play on a 27" 720p Insignia (I know, horrible) I finally have the money set aside to make a major upgrade. I play around 3.6 KD on Halo and 2.8-3.0 on CoD.

Please elaborate on your response.
