Just purchased my first "current gen" console and went with xbox one. I am confused, it doesn't look as good as i had hoped. Is there something i can do to make my experience better?

It launches in 720p and i have MGSV for pc and just got it for xbox one for MGO3. My pc is definitely not as good as far as hardware goes compared to the capabilities of xbox one, yet the game looks quite different on xbox one. And it shows green artifacts. I'm kind of at a loss and quite disappointed with how it's performing so far. Is there something I am missing? I really want to like this setup but so far no bueno.
