So I I came home from college this weekend without my xbox one. And being super bored I decided to hook up my old 360. But when I started it up I looked like a checker board with small squares all over my tv. Having no clue what it was I checked the settings and saw it was at 480p. I tried switching to 1080p, 1080i, hell even 720p would probably cause less headaches than that weird flickering the 480p was doing.
The problem is, as you can see in this picture it says to switch that plug thing to HDTV (which before my xbox one, that's what I would play my 360 on). But when I do it restarts the Xbox and the screen is black but I can still hear everything.
I've tried switch tv channels (hdmi, av, component) and nothing. The only thing that happens is the sound from the Xbox on the "component" channel. I have no idea what to do but any tips or advice will be appreciated
