It seems that Samsung tested both a Note 5 with 4k screen and one with 2K and decided to go with the 2K screen this year.
Well we will have to wait till september to be sure, but if that is the case and the consumer Gear VR or the Note 5 dont have any other surprises, it looks like i will keep my Note 4 Gear VR for another year.
