I play Love Live on two devices.
First device is an iPod Touch 5th Generation running on iOS 6.1 and the second device is a Samsung Galaxy S4 running on Lolipop 5.0.1. I am running into problems that make the game unenjoyable and sometimes even unplayable.
iPod Touch Issue
I was playing on my iPod perfectly fine until recently. I would apparently "miss" notes even though I know for a fact I hit it at the proper time. This issue is starting to happen on every song I play and happens frequently in each song. Consequently, I've been failing every song I would normally pass with ease. Some patterns I recognized after experiencing this several times are: It would happen mostly (so far, every time) at times where there are really fast double notes and it would also happen on certain notes (some notes are unaffected by this issue and are perfectly fine). I never experienced this problem from ranks 1 to 20 and I only started noticing this after I charged my iPod for the first time in a while (so maybe it has something to do with that?) but I do not play while my device is charging.
The solutions I've tried so far:
-
Reinstalling the application
-
Ending all background processes
-
Restarting the device
Samsung S4 Issue
The issue with my Samsung device is that there is this constant input delay that would affect the score of the notes being hit. I get much higher scores and combos on my iPod because of this delay. In short, whenever I tap to hit a note, the feedback sound would appear noticeably milliseconds after.
The soultions I've tried so far:
-
Enabling 2D hardware acceleration (helped with frame skipping problems)
-
Ending all background processes
-
Clearing up the device RAM
Are there any solutions to these problems? Any feedback would greatly be appreciated. Thank you!
