I'm extremely new to android phones of any kind. I've only had iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 (both hand-me-downs from when my wife upgraded her iPhones). I am very interested in android, just for something new, to experiment. It will be my first actual brand new phone. But with our Dansk phone company, I can only choose from a few phones. Out of all the Samsung/Huawei phones, I can choose Huawei Ascend P8 and the lite version (dont want the lite), and Samsung Galaxys: S6, S6 edge, S5, Note 4. I am interested in the ability to use an extra SD card for storage. so s6/edge are out for sure. They are way too much money anyway.
So that leaves me to the Huawei Ascend P8, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and Samsung Galaxy S5. I don't really care for the Note 4... it's way too big for my hands, and it looks way cumbersome. So S5, or P8. The P8's design is way more me, and I really think it's neat. Camera is pretty good too as far as I can see. But as for the app store.. Does the Huawei Ascend P8 have the ability right out of the box to access Android App store, or is it only capable with Huawei specific app store? That's my only inquiry as far as the phone goes. Also, the Huawei Ascend P8 is the same thing as Huawei P8 right? Sorry for so many noobie questions XP
