Hello and welcome to my thread!!! I have found a secret mod for better battery life on the Samsung Galaxy S6™ 128GB model.

Requirements:

• Phone
• Internet access
• ES File Explorer
• Gallery app
• Brain.apk
• 2 to 3mb of storage

MAKE SURE TO BACK UP YOUR DEVICE, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BRICKS

Steps:

1. Go to www.google.com
2. Google images "black background"
3. Open any black image [IMPORTANT: IMAGE MUST BE BLACK, NO EXCEPTIONS]
4. Click "save image"
5. Go to ES File Explorer and go to /downloads
6. Click on your image to open it
7. Select a gallery application NOT a photo editing application.
8. Click three dot menu (NOTE: MENU KEY WORKS TOO)
9. Make image your wallpaper

This has been confirmed to work on my Galaxy S6, now I am getting twice as much battery life!!!

As a side effect, this mod also comes with a super nighttime visibility tweak that makes your device less annoying to use at night.

TESTED ON GALAXY S6 -- UNCONFIRMED IF IT HAS ANY EFFECT ON OTHER AMOLED PHONES.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Depending on which image you choose, you might lose up to 1mb of extra storage space. BE CAREFUL, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
