A Rant(swearing): Even microsoft treats professionals like idiots.

This is most certainly a very ranty post. I'm a Service/Repairman at a computer store and we had a special someone pop in today about a 'special' product, the Xbox One... it was essentially a presentation about their bloody console and how its great and everything. The best part about the presentation, is at the start how he said that, "getting people who play on PC and converting them on Xbox is very hard". I just sat there thinking, "gee I wonder fucking why?" Then he starting talking about console exclusive games and how thats a good thing. Oh great, if I want to play the new Tomb Raider of whatever I just have to buy a bloody potato for like $650 and play it at 720P 30FPS. Oh but no, we can run these games a 60FPS 1080p, he claims about a product that isn't even out yet. And then he went onto there goddamn subscription fee... 'its really cool guys, for you employees you can get up to 75% off our gold subscription", or whatever they call it. And he goes on about how you can stream your x box one games to your PC... I almost lost my shit when he said, "and this is a way how PC gamers can play Halo on your PC". FUCK YOU!!! I was about to get out of out my chair and start screaming at him, if my manager and I were on good terms I probably would have done, so I could get away with it. And he goes on, and on. He hits everything wrong with modern consoles and doesn't address the problems. Console exclusivity, paid subscription, why is backwards compatibility just showing up now? Why do console games cost so much, even after 2 years after release? Why are you claiming 1080P 60FPS gaming at the end of the year, when there is no proof? What is the purpose of the holo lens? Why are you spending so much money on marketing this crap, instead of optimising it and putting better hardware in, in the first place? Why are you calling the elite controller the 'hardcore gamers' experience/choice, when keyboard and mouse are superior in almost every singe way? And why does it cost $150+? Why am I even sitting here and listening to this shit? One of the best parts of the presentation for me, was when the speaker finished awkwardly, no one applauded and just wanted to go home... and play on their PCs, nice try mate.
