1st time posting here could use some audio switching help, figured this would be the place, sorry to trouble you

i have a TV thats hooked up to both my desktop and xbox, and i have but 1 good speaker system, the xbox has HDMI so its audio is automatically transferred to the TV, but my computer does not, it only has a VGA, so if i want to be able to take advantage of my speaker system on both my xbox on tv, i have to constantly take the speaker systems plug from my desktop to the headphone jack on my tv. i was wondering if any of you knew of any actual good qualilty A/B switches like seen here problem with that one is it has sketchy reviews lately saying it has some major issues so id rather find one i know will work really well without diminishing qualilty so as to not waste my money, any help is appreciated
