HDMI not recognised.

Hey guys, I recently purchased a new monitor for my pc (Asus VG278HE) and for whatever reason it has decided not to work with my Xbox One.

The weird thing is I had the monitor set up elsewhere when I first purchased it and it was working fine with the Xbox One but when I decided to move it to my room with the pc, all I get is no signal from the HDMI.

I assure you there's nothing wrong with the Xbox One as I'm having to use it with my ordinary TV for now, I just don't understand how it's suddenly not compatible with my monitor any more, the HDMI cable isn't faulty either since I'm using the same one for the TV.

I have tried to hard reset the Xbox One and everything, even adjusted the settings on the Xbox to use 720p instead of 1080p but nothing has worked unfortunately.

If anyone has encountered similar problems or has fixed this issue before, It'd be helpful to hear. Thanks
