Can someone help explain the real differences and which might be best for me? Is the Extreme just overkill?
I don't play a lot of online gaming, i'd like to make sure I can though. I do stream Netflix a lot. While streaming it isn't uncommon for me and/or my wife to be on our MacBooks/ipads/iphones surfing the web.
I also have a Foscam IP wireless camera that is used for a baby monitor that streams 720.
Currently plugged into my Linksys E1000 router is security cameras, blu-ray player, xbox, apple tv. I have Cox Ultimate internet with a ARRIS / Motorola SB6141 router, or a router very similar to it.
The linksys E1000 works 'fine' now, but i've been told just switching to an Express would help improve my quality. I recently came across a new express for cheap so I have one, but if it really won't improve then I can list in on Ebay and use the profit towards an Extreme.
