I've been using the Sling app on Xbox One (which I had heard was terrible) and Roku 3, and it's been nearly perfect. Queued up a college football game and there was reduced resolution initially for about ten seconds but now streaming in 720 with no buffering or choppiness. I thought I might need a wired ethernet connection to stream live football but the wifi connection has been enough. I do have Cox's best internet package, though (300mbps down).
My question to all of you is whether the service is anecdotally better during the trial so that you're more apt to keep it past the trial? Or do you figure that since I have a good internet connection that there's sufficient bandwidth to support the service?
