Finally ready to take the plunge and get an Xbox One. But which system to buy? I need yall's expertise!

Hey friends.

So I currently own a 40inch 720p "HD" tv that serves my needs just fine. I don't plan on buying a 1080p+ screen anytime soon.

I am wondering if the the XB1 S is worthwhile for me at all. Does the processing power affect loading times or how the system runs in a really meaningful way?

The Original Xbox Ones are going for cheap right now and If I can save money and the One S is really an upgrade for folks that want more graphical fidelity I will go with the original model.

Ive checked plenty of sites but haven't found a simple explanation of whether or not it is worthwhile for me.
