Background Applications: OBS, Twitch.tv Description of Problem: Hey all,
I'm at a loss and no longer know where to turn when asking this question. All of the category specific subreddits don't seem to have a solution or an answer and I'm tapped out.
I have an FX 8320e that when I did my research heard was great for streaming (gaming stream) not only on PC but on Console as well.
While running my stream (720p 30fps 2500 bitrate) it seems that I get relatively high CPU usage. (60-80%) If I try to open up Twitch and watch my own stream, my CPU usage sits at 98-100%.
So my question is, is my CPU messed up?? I've read comments and discussion of people with the same CPU saying that they're PC streaming at 1080p 30fps (sometimes 60) while running PC games at the same time -- single PC streaming setup. I can't even imagine putting mine to 720p 60fps not to mention 1080p. That would max out the CPU immediately.
At this point any help is appreciated. I'd be better at even if the issue was that the 8320e just isn't as powerful as people have stated, but from what I've read most have said they're rockin with it.
Troubleshooting: Tried swapping to different version of OBS, reinstalling drivers, trying multiple capture cards (one with built in hardware encoding), I've tried closing all but important applications.
