Need help with Avermedia

Hey all,

Don't know if anyone here can help me, but I've been having problems with this CC forever now and I'm at my wits end.

First off, I'm using the CC to capture xbox one gameplay. Once PC for streaming.

Every time I turn on my xbox, I can ONLY see my xbox screen on my OBS preview, not my monitor. I then have to go into my display settings on my xbox, switch it to 720, hit yes. I then can now see it on both my monitor and OBS preview. I then switch it back to 1080, and now I can see it on both.

Why? What in the world is happening with this capture card? I feel like although this may seem like a small thing, I feel as though the capture card isn't working properly in it's entirety. I know this might be better off posted on the Avermedia forums, but maybe you guys have had similar experiences.
