I have a launch xbox one and for some reason it will not work on my older vizio tv's anymore. It works fine on my newer samsung and fine on a older knock off brand that is 720p. Really disappointing as one of them is my large living room plasma. No sound or any signs of life on them now.
I have tried: Xbox is fully up to date Cold booting Forcing it to run at 720p (the older tv's are 720p) Different hdmi cords (both from monoprice, maybe I need to try another brand? wierd) Resetting the xbox to run in safe mode that is 480p
I also called tech support and they wanted me to send it in, i really am trying to avoid this. They hooked me up with a month free of xbox live for my issues.
What other things can i try?
