I submitted a thread a while ago when the app was updated, and that basically turned into a dead end. In short, the problem is that any video played via the Prime Video app just goes to a black screen, and there's no way to recover without hard-rebooting the Xbox.
I revisited this issue today and stumbled upon a discussion on Amazon's forums where others who are experiencing this issue were determined to all be using TVs that do not support 1080p resolution.
Is there a workaround for this? Do we know if Amazon will be patching this out? My TV only supports up to 720p resolution.
