[Troubleshooting] My rigs monitor randomly turns off, yet my tower continues running

My current computer specs are: PSU: Corsair Builder 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H87-D3H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard CPU: Intel Core i5-4670 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor GPU: Gigabyte GTX 770 2Gb RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive OTHER: Mouse, Keyboard, Razer Nostromo, 1080p Monitor, refurbished 720p monitor, Rosewill 300Mbps 802.11 b/g/n Wireless Adapter (RNX-N250PCe), speakers, and Xbox PC Wireless Gaming Reciever OS: Windows 10

I built my rig about a year and a half ago. Within the past several months, after my update to Windows 10, my monitor(s) will randomly turn off, yet my tower continues running like normal. It's not an everyday occurrence, but happens enough that I have noticed it and am a bit concerned. It has happened anytime from when I'm playing a game (anything from BF4 to Binding of Isaac), to when I'm simply watching a lecture for school. There are no errors or noises coming from my PC before it turns off, and after I restart it there are still no errors shown. The only noticeable thing is that it boots a little slower (1-2 min normally vs. 2-3 min after the shutoff). I have two monitors hooked up. My primary one is connected to my GPU, the second one is connected to the motherboard (doesn't have the correct ports to connect to my GPU) and I only use it as an extra screen for schoolwork and Netflix. I notice that when both are in use, the chances of a shut off are slightly higher, but nothing extreme. One more thing that I have noticed is that sometimes (about half the time) when this happens, upon turning the computer back on, a windows update will start to install.

-The first thing I did to troubleshoot was check to see if all the components were completely attached, which they were. -Next, I thought that maybe my CPU was overheating, but when I checked the temperature, all the cores were between 35-40C, and all the fans in the case were working fine. -I ran several virus and anti-malware scans, all of which came back clean. I also ran a check to see of my HDD was damaged, but that scan also came back clean.

All in all, I'm not sure what is causing this. The only thing left I can think of is if my PSU is not strong enough or is somehow damaged, though I don't know how to check that. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

(My PC is not overclocked, and I use compressed air to clean the dust out of it bi-monthly. It also sits on a table to avoid excess dust.)
