25/M/Landscaping & Property Maintenance

25 year old male. I own a landscaping and property maintenance company. I have bought a lot of Kershaw knives and they just seem to go dull VERY quickly. I can never get them sharp as they were when I bought them. I just purchased a Ka-bar Becker BK2 on Amazon to replace the Kershaw.

I have had a streamlight style and the button broke almost immediately, would not recommend it. I actually use this stuff every day. My most used EDCs are my phone and my knife. Even when I get the Ka-Bar Becker BK2, I will still keep the Kershaw clipped to my pocket.

The Friendly Swede Paracord Bracelet

A little heavy and bulky but it is made well. The bracelet connects with a itty bitty bolt that screws in. I can see the threads stripping if you take it on and off a lot of if you over tighten it.

Nite Ize Multi-tool

I just got this today actually. Haven't been able to test out the hex tool but I would only use it in emergencies. The flat head end works well. Looks sleak on my key chain and looks good with the Freekey system.

FreeKey System

I also just got this today. It is original looking and has an intuitive design. I don't have enough use to see if it is game changing or anything. I do use a lot of keys for my business but I am not using them with the Freekey. I bought this for my car keys and house keys.

Ford F-250 Key

JayBird BlueBuds X

When cutting lawns I wear these. The charge lasts a few hours, the bass sounds great and they have a pretty good sound overall. They really don't like to fall out of your ears. I could play a high pace game of basket ball and these would not fall out. The sound cancelling is amazing, went camping next to a pond and the bull frogs made it impossible to sleep. I put these in and put on some music and I was out in a few minutes. When mowing, I can barely hear the sound of the mower.

Kershaw Volt SS

I have purchased 5 Kershaw knives. If you work in an office or something then I would recommend it. The spring pop open takes a day or two to get used to but it is impossible to go back to a knife without it. They are built well and they come RAZOR sharp. I have not been able to get a Kershaw to hold the edge though. I have purchased a few sharpeners and all 4 of the Kershaws I have right now couldn't cut a mango skin. I do use the knives A LOT. Cutting weed eater string, ropes, paracord, opening boxes, cutting tarps and rope off of my mower blades, etc.

Recycled Firefighter - The Sergeant

This is built very well, I accidentally bought the green and not the orange because I click the orange picture on their website and thought I selected orange. It was just to show what it looked like. The wallet holds my license and 3-4 other cards pretty securely. I love the slim design. I put about 6-10 bills tri-folded in the back and haven't lost any money yet. Too much money makes the entire wallet bulky though. I'd rather keep 3-5 100 bills instead of a bunch of 20s. You want to keep the strap in the back tight.

Honorable Mentions

5.11 Tactical Taclite Boots

These come pretty light tan, they are built very well and are very light. I don't like heavy shoes or boots as they can cause fatigue pretty quickly. I hit them with some Redwing Boot Oil and some saddle soap. It darkened them up and they are more water repellent now.

Kuhl Rydr Pants Extremely light weight and easily the most comfortable fabric I have ever worn. I could wear these pants in the hot sun all day. They have a side zip pocket for my phone or to vent the heat. They are very well built and have a lot of nice comfort features. I have a few Kuhl pants and they are worth the money.
