2-in-1 Laptop for Skyrim SE, Small & Light, Using Video Glasses

Hi guys, I travel frequently for work and want to play through Morrowind, Oblivion, and of course Skyrim SE with full settings.

My plan is to use a wired XBOX One controller for Skyrim and possibly the keyboard/mouse for the other games. This laptop would only be for gaming so I'd like it to be fast but also light, small and folding (like the zen or yoga books) so I can stand it up on airplane trays. Otherwise, I plan on using some lightweight video glasses that will need HDMI and USB for their signal. Does anyone have some recommendations? I haven't purchased a laptop in a while and don't know much about the specs. My budget is flexible so maybe a high, medium recommendation... I can always dial the graphics back or play the original Skyrim vs. the Special Edition (SE) which has super high graphics now. Also, I completed the form:

  • Total budget and country of purchase: Up to $3k but would prefer $1k-$1.5k

  • Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications for the money? Pick or include any that apply. Best for the money, durability, must be 2-in-1 form factor folding but don't care about touch screen, must have HDMI and USB

  • How important is weight and thinness to you? Moderately important, I'm cool with a smaller laptop but don't want any extra peripherals for advanced graphics cards, would prefer a sturdy aluminum build vs. plastic

  • Which OS do you require? Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, Linux. Going to run Windows 10 probably, along with Steam for the games

  • Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. Medium, I guess 11" to 13" range, maybe 15"

  • Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. Gaming, planning to run Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim Special Edition (SE)

  • If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? Higher FPS the better, but might be outputting video sometimes to video glasses at 720P I do not care about 4k screens, high definition is fine

  • Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? Don't care about optical drives, don't care about touch screen, don't care about finger-print reader, just want a sturdy build and decent keyboard

  • Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. Thank you all so much!!
