Standings will be regularly updated here until the event deadline.
Results not final until event deadline, after entries are verified via one of the methods listed in Rule #2 below.
3 Simple Rules:
1. Drive your own new clean/valid lap for this event in Time Trial mode. No old lap records previously set. No in-game penalties (for example: off-track corner-cutting, etc.). No cheats/hacks/mods, etc.
2. Post your fastest clean lap time here on this thread as a top-level comment with any of the following for confirmation:
-
a link to a publicly accessible video or screenshot - show your entire pause screen from your Time Trial session with a clear view of your best clean lap time (please trim video length to include only your fastest clean lap)
-
or, players on PC/Steam can just provide their username as it appears on the Project CARS official in-game PC leaderboard for this car+track combo.
3. "Be excellent to each other." Be nice to fellow participants and keep the atmosphere fun & inclusive for all. Obey Wheaton's Law.
All are welcome & encouraged to participate as long as you follow those 3 simple rules.
Don't be shy - just do your best and enjoy yourself! It doesn't matter if you're super fast, or if you're new to the game, or anywhere in between. It's all in good fun to help foster community spirit here. All participants are encouraged to ask for & share info & tips on how to get faster laps in this challenge so we can all improve together.
Run your laps any way you want:
• any platform (PC, PlayStation4, Xbox One)
• any assists (or none)
• any tuning setup
• any peripherals (wheel, gamepad/controller, keyboard, VR, etc.)
• any of the game's built-in supported settings/options
• as many attempts as you want before the event deadline
The Sauber C9 is an awesome-sounding beast, and I was pleasantly surprised at how manageable it is to drive it in Project CARS (after the tires warm up). I ran my initial entry (1:23.588) with no assists on PC/Steam using a ThrustMaster T150 wheel (after some warm-up laps in Free Practice mode). I only made a few quick modifications to the tuning setup: max downforce, loosened up the differential, increased waste-gate pressure, zero camber & toe, and closed the brake duct & radiator to 25%. I may try to get a faster lap before this event's deadline.
Good luck & have fun!
