AVR: Denon S720W
Front speakers: 2x Klipsch 28F
Center Speaker: Klipsch Quintet V (center)
Subwoofer: Klipsch 400w 12" subwoofer
Wiring:
TV --HDMI--> Xbox One, PS4, Cable TV
TV --HDMI (ARC)--> AVR
I'm in an apartment right now, so I don't have the room to setup a 5.1/7.1 setup so I'm just using the front speakers for the time being. Is it OK to do this setup (having devices connected to the TV), or should I have the devices hooked up to the AVR via HDMI? I'm trying to keep things simple and continue to use the Samsung smart remote. If I have the devices connected to the AVR, I'll need to use that remote as well, correct?
