Hello,
I have been googling this issue for a while now and I can't seem to figure out how to solve it, so maybe you folks can help.
I have an old 720p tv. Not old enough to not have an HDMI port but old enough to only have one HDMI port. JVC, from what I remember (it's not actually my tv but our landlord's tv). There seems to be an overscan issue which is easily fixed with games that allow you to change the screen size. But for some reason it doesn't work with games that don't offer this and the dashboard itself. So I changed the resolution from 1080 (since that is the setting that causes this overscan) to 720. But then the screen becomes distorted and everything looks squished, so it looks rather impossible to have a decent picture.
I went through my TV settings and there seems to be no setting that allows me to change the input resolution. I don't know if it's just an old tv and I'm stuck with this or if I'm missing something else completely.
Any help is appreciated.
