Thoughts on improvements to the N3DS or next Nintendo handheld

Now that I've spent some time with the N3DS I have some ideas on future improvements that could be made on it or on the next Nintendo handheld. If there was a Nintendo feedback website I would post this there, but I don't think there is one. Microsoft and Sony have theirs and it's great. I think the N3DS is a great improvement over the 3DS, but there's always room for improvement. The first thing I would want to see in the next Nintendo handheld is a HD screen with a resolution of at least 720p.

The second thing I would consider adding is making at least some of the buttons mechanical switches instead of rubber dome. Omron might be a good switch to use. I would also use a higher capacity battery to extend battery life. Backlighting some of the buttons would be nice as well. Making the WiFi 5GHz compatible would definitely help in my apartment where there's a million wireless devices. 802.11n and 802.11ac support would be nice as well. The addition of the C stick was definitely nice, but I think a second circle pad would be better. I think it would best be placed directly below the ABXY buttons so the circle pads are diagonal like on a Xbox controller.

The circle pads might even be replaced with small thumbsticks like on a Vita. Another addition could be replacing two of the should buttons with tiny triggers that have a range of motion. I would also like to have some form of vibration in the handheld. It doesn't have to be really strong, but just enough so you can feel something. Haptic feedback really adds to an experience.
