I'm hoping some one might know more about this or point me to somewhere that might:
So today I received this weird system message on my phone (one of those black notice boxes that appear in the center of the screen) and it was warning me of possible malware in an SMS.
Only I hadn't received any recent messages that had links or attachments or anything. The weird thing was the wording in the message. It said something along to lines of looking out and mid message went "... gah" (used like when you mess something up). I thought it might have been a google style error (like how it goes Oops) but I can't find ANYTHING on this. And I was dumb and didnt get a screenshot of it.
The only security app I had on my phone at the time was Malwarebytes, and now it crashes during the scan, but it is usin the newest version (from February). I did run Lookout for the first time today and it says its clean. I don't see anything malicious on the phone for apps and processes, but I'm not a pro at Android.
Only other sign was the phone wouldn't properly open from the lock screen earlier and I had to restart it. That was about 30 mins before the weird message.
I have a stock Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 4 running 5.0.
Anyone ever hear of any system messages like this before?
Thanks.
